Meet the Artist
Laurie Hessong is a multi-media painter and artist who lives and works in South Mountain, Pennsylvania. Her distinctive personal style emanates eclectic pieces integrating drawing, painting, metal pieces, resin and textiles to name a few.
As the artist explains, “I’m inspired by nature and captivated by detail. I often times find myself completely lost in a painting, using a brush with 10 bristles to create the tiniest of details. Minutes turn into hours as I become completely lost in my creation; my time spent with God as we create together.”
Laurie graduated from Kutztown University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education and taught elementary and high school art. She resides in Pennsylvania with her husband, teenage daughter, 3 dogs, cat and 12 chickens.
